Descrição do Cargo:

The ideal candidate will work with senior managers and industry experts to devise creative and impactful ways to deliver fresh innovation. The Vice President of Innovation and Development in Brazil will assess the development needs of the organization and create cost-effective, high-impact tools and processes throughout Latin America.  He/She will lead Innovation opportunities through stage gates from ideation to commercialization through strong working relationships with external agencies, vendors and cross-functional counterparts.  In addition to new growth pipeline management, this role will provide leadership to established and emerging categories brands on innovation initiatives that grow existing businesses.  This position demands flexibility, creativity, an entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced relatively unstructured environment. Specifically, the Vice President of Development and Innovation will be responsible for: providing thought leadership and innovation in the sustained growth of the company brand so that it continues to be highly valued, fresh, and contemporary based on segment, industry, and guest trends. He/she will also be responsible for Identifying potential market expansions and opportunities for non-traditional growth initiatives that maximize long-term growth as well as working closely with the Executive Team to build and maintain brand alignment on all development initiatives.

Desired Skills & Experience ..

    • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred from top Brazilian schools (FGV prefered).
    • Able to build breakthrough new product platforms and organic growth strategies.
    • Have lead and executed development strategy aligned with company financial and growth objectives.Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
    • Financial management and data analytical skills to support forecasting, and basic cost accounting, budgeting and P&L modeling.
    • Ability to develop productive relationships and communicate effectively with management, peers, plant personnel, suppliers and customers.
    • Understanding of research, including research design and analysis.
    • Comfort with common qualitative and quantitative innovation research tools including concept testing, conjoint studies and volumetric testing.
    • Ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
