Senior M&A Associate

This is a full time position (CLT) to build and manage the new and emerging professional consulting practice within the firm that is focused on offering market research services & consulting support to the M&A community (private equity firms, corporate development/internal M&A groups, holding companies, investment bankers, etc). The primary emphasis is customer due diligence for companies being sold or acquired in addition to other targeted strategy and market consulting and research. Senior-level role with responsibility for developing a business focused on offering market research services & consulting support to the M&A community. This person will thrive in an entrepreneurial yet structured boutique firm. Esta posição é baseada na Grande São Paulo.

This is a full time position (CLT) to build and manage the new and emerging professional consulting practice within the firm that is focused on offering market research services & consulting support to the M&A community (private equity firms, corporate development/internal M&A groups, holding companies, investment bankers, etc). The primary emphasis is customer due diligence for companies being sold or acquired in addition to other targeted strategy and market consulting and research. Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor Adminstration degree and/or MBA from well known Universities – FGV (preferably)
  • Problem solving and data analysis skills, including superior proficiency in the use of spreadsheets; able to synthesize complex analyses into key findings and sound recommendations
  • Written communication skills: writes clear and effective business prose and summaries of own work; develops clear client documents sections with guidance which require only minor editing
  • Oral communication skills: clearly articulates information and answers in team and client meetings; delivers portions of prepared presentations/materials well, clearly demonstrating understanding of subject matter; answers questions concisely and logically
  • Project Management technical skills: strong understanding of key PM concepts such as activity plans, milestones, task dependencies, risk and issue tracking, status reporting
  • Proficient at use of technology and business applications, such as MS Office suite of products
  • Able to function in an ambiguous, unstructured, fast moving and rapidly changing environment
  • Fluently in English and Portuguese
