Executive Business Development ManagerHigh Tech Polymers
Our client company was formed in 2014 and has been establishing presence and acceptance in Telecoms, Rail and Metro applications, Highways and Streetlight infrastructure and Electric Power, Gas and Water distribution companies. Our client develops manufactures and sells construction products made from lightweight structural polymers. These light weight products are of equivalent strength to the precast or made-in-situ concrete structures that they replace, but these products can reduce the labor and equipment required for installation. Combined with optimized construction practices, our customer’s products enable much faster construction of higher quality infrastructure while reducing overall project costs. Brazil’s headquarter is based in Sao Paulo while the production facility is based at another state.

We are seeking a senior executive to be a hands on results driven Professional and will work with Network Infrastructure Engineering and Construction markets. Because the company brings to market new products, our client’s sales cycle requires sequential contacts with a variety of buying influencers during new account development. Once an account is established however, post-sales support and account management assures years of repeat sales. The candidate will work with the CEO and COO and CFO and Marketing Manager in growing the business and will be responsible for setting up an strategy, forecasting and drive the Sales team in accordance with the annual business plan prepared for and approved by the Board. The Executive Business Development Manager will work closely with the engineering/tech team, and a team of engineering-oriented direct employees. Summary: Collaborate on business development plans with a focus on opportunities closing in the 60 to 120 days; Manage and facilitate the sales activities of 2-4 direct staff involved in sales and major account management; Manage and focus several sales Representative Organizations by helping close opportunities identified; Implement a system of Key Performance Indicators for Sales reporting, refining system as our customer in Brazil develops and grows

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Graduation in Business Administration, or Engineering. Post-Graduation or MBA in a well known Brazilian University is very desirable (FGV preferable).
- Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and direction
- Be analytical and creative in approach
- Ability to manage a team and get the best results through leading by example
- Hard working, flexible and ambitious who wants to grow
- Project management skills plus an ability to multi-task
- Brazilian Native, English mandatory, Spanish a plus
