Descrição do Cargo:

This director level position is tasked with coordinating, evaluating and monitoring new and innovative pilot projects that help establish this mature internet retailer to more effectively provide best priced products in a timely manner to our customer throughout Brazil. The ideal candidate should understands and challenges the normal business partnership relationships and creates value through improved methods of moving product through the supply chain to the customer. This role typically manages 5 direct reports and a broader team of associates. He/She will manage day to day operations related issues and manages a team, be responsible for leading future fulfillment network growth initiatives as well as initiatives that drive efficiency and lower costs in the existing company’s fulfillment network. Further responsability include driving the long term planning and design of our customer fulfillment network. The position requires to identify areas of cost reduction and quality improvements within the supply chain and develops, analyzes, recommends and directs efforts in all areas of supply chain logistics as well as assist in the strategic planning for the supply chain and serves as the supply chain contact for vendors. Develops and executes logistics planning, coordinates with home office logistics to develop tools and procedures for warehouse sizing and layout.

Esta posição é baseada na Grande São Paulo.

Desired Skills & Experience:

MBA or advanced degree is preferred from top Brazilian schools (FGV prefered).

Experience with a combination of procurement, production planning, warehousing and logistics management.

Experience in contract negotiation and management. Able to train others in negotiation and contract management.

Interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with contemporary personnel development and process improvement efforts.
Proficient in cost/benefit and risk analysis.
Purchasing direct materials
Ability to prepare and deliver business presentations to individuals and groups
Ability to take responsibility for multiple projects to achieve goals and meet deadlines
Experience in effectively managing both internal and external relationships with cross-functional groups and suppliers
Ability to translate and communicate organizational objectives to departmental goals and action plans<
Supply planning, logistics management, sourcing and re-sourcing, supplier development<
Fluent in English

  • Bachelor Adminstration degree and/or MBA from well known Universities – FGV (preferably) 60% 60%
