We are looking for a Senior professional able to assume a strategic role in the project acting as Manufacturing Director. He/She will provide leadership as the Manufacturing specialist to the consulting team, developing strategies to consolidate Performance Improvement business in Brazil as Direct and coordinate activities concerned with the production, job scheduling, material and labor planning, product quality and costing.  Establish and implement operational policies and goals to support the business strategies and optimize the client operation and ensure quality and costs standards of the client are achieved, maintained and improved. The candidate is expected to Lead activities across departments to implement changes and improve operational efficiency and take hands-on lead position of developing and implementing solutions to high complex problems.  The ideal candidate is expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with the main stakeholders so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions, assist company leaders in identifying and pursuing market opportunities, manage, orient, coach and evaluate the staff in order to give the necessary support and to guide the employee towards optimum performance and self-development and build own network of contacts/referral sources with clients/professionals/institutions.

The position is based in Sao Paulo immediate surrounding area.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Brazilian Native, English mandatory, Spanish a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering or Computer Science from a reputable university.
  • Graduated from top MBA school in Brazil: FGV (preferable)
  • Solid experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as strong knowledge of industry and management methodologies, plant operations, process design, Total Quality Management or Six Sigma.
  • Proven experience, knowledge or qualifications in a relevant field with full end to end operational responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills and the ability to manage and effectively solve complex issues
  • Strong Industrial background with a track record of implementing change or leading turnaround situations in a challenging environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Sound judgment to quickly identify key findings in poor performance operations.
  • Solid knowledge of business and management principles involved with strategic planning and resource allocation (personnel, plant, equipment, and material).
  •  Focus on continuous improvement and optimization of operating performance.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Executives with fast career progression developed in large corporations recognized as best in class.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Ability to work well in collaboration with others.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of completeness and accuracy.
