Our customer is a leading US Corporation who sells systems, intelligence and services on Big data, which is a collection of data sets so large and complex that it becomes difficult to process using on-hand database management tools or traditional data processing applications. Brazil is at the edge of this market and our client wants to target clients who handles millions of back-end operations every day, as well as clients who handles millions of customer transactions every hour, Credit Card Fraud Detection Systems and systems to help future buyers determine their typical shopping behaviors.

Our customer line of business, “Big data”, storing, decoding and analyzing data, from Facebook updates or tweets, are figures that help companies increase profit or cut costs. It is one of the hottest industries in the world today. In fact, the big data market is estimated to grow by 45% annually to reach $25 billion by 2015: about twice as fast as the software business as a whole


Descrição do Cargo:

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Marketing Manager (market intelligence, competitive analysis), who has experience in Marketing Communication (ensure consistent communication to support business) and is able to conduct Business Excellence (process management and improvement, technological management: industrial property and product certification).He/she will also be responsible for developing, promoting and managing a portfolio of Brazil services that leverage and support related database, appliance and software capabilities. This position will be responsible for collaborating with delivery and marketing teams to define an overall Big Data services strategy and aligning the approach and capabilities with the Analytic Architecture. This position will be responsible for providing the framework for positioning Big Data related products in Latin America.


Esta posição é baseada na Grande São Paulo.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate ability to manage complex and multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to thoughtfully work across the organization, ensuring that all activities meet functional

and business objectives

Excellent analytic and strategic thinking skills

Comfort in working with senior leaders to ensure that program goals and objectives are in

line with broader business objectives

Further academic generalist background in recognized schools in Brazil – FGV (preferable) is a plus.

Must have fluency in English.

Ability to quickly grasp partner business objectives and that align with our client priorities and opportunities

Strong marketing, interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibly operate within deadline and budget parameters

Own projects and see them through from beginning to end

Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment

Deliver clear direction and motivate others
